- Corrected bug with keyboard shorcuts not working for GNS430 #2 and GNS 530 #2.
- Corrected bug with Flight Simulator X SP2: the GNS WAAS now correctly connects to the needles.
- Added new setting: "AutoCourse". It automatically sets the CRS indicator when the GNS DTK chanches. Uses On/Off values (GNS WAAS Config).
- Added new setting: "ShadinFuel". It enables the Shadin Fuel Interface and automatically updates the fuel Capacity, Quantity and Flow to the GNS (this was always "on" before and it is now a user setting so this can be disabled). Uses On/Off values (GNS WAAS Config).
- Added new setting: "RadioSyncMode". It permits changing the synchornisation logic between the flight simulator and the GNS simulation and it can help solving the "jumping frequencies" issues experienced with some systems. It was always bi-directional before. It can now be selected among bi-directional, Simulation to GNS only or GNS to Simulation only. Uses "Full", "ToGns" and "FrGns" values (GNS WAAS Config).
- Added new settings: "Brightness" (for the GNS, the GTX and the GMA). This refines the integral lighting modes when using the Garmin Gauges with Flight Line T/N for example. The new setting permits selecting a fixed brightness value, from 0.0 (fully dimmed) to 1.0 (fully bright) and benefit from the Dimmer gauge for the FLT/N gauges. Any negative value (default: -1) enables the Dimmer gauge (GNS WAAS Config).
- This version is now compatible with the GNS WAAS Hardware Driver.
- Added new settings: "HardwareDevice" and "HardwareIdx" (must be manually set in the INI file - not available through the GNS Config Application). This sets the hardware type ("Off", "PFC_430", "PFC_STACK") and the hardware device selector # (default: 0), in order to link the GNS simulation to the GNS WAAS Hardware Devices supported and connected hardware devices (requires updated GNS WAAS Hardware Driver after 18FEB10).
- Added new setting: FuelType. Uses 0 (AV gas), 1 (JetA) or 2 (JetB). This requires GNS WAAS Unlimited or a GNS WAAS Professional license (manual setting in the INI file).
01JUL09
- The GNS WAAS installer failed to update the GNS WAAS Config application for our customers having purchased the first release of our GNS WAAS. Incidently, those customers never have had the GNS WAAS Config updated with all the GNS WAAS updates. It is now corrected and the GNS WAAS Config 9/X.exe programs are now version 6.3.0.0.
10JUN09
- updated the GNS WAAS Config application: the Link VOR option is now working properly. It was incorectly showing/saving a On/Off value with an INI file label "LinkToVor" whereas it is an integer value with an INI file label "LinkVor".
08JUN09
- solved incompatibility issue between the Trainer and NVidia Video Card (the aircraft and wind symbols displayed red)
- improved knob handling now features accelerated input when repeating knob action.
- added full support for RealAir Duke 60.
- added a safe guard when the host simulator fails. Under some circumstances, when exiting the host simulator, the Operating System fails to close the Trainer process running in the background. When this occurs, the Trainer process will self-terminate after a 1min delay.
23DEC08
- Added new option AutoPowerOn for the Garmin GTX 327 transponder.
- updated GNS WAAS Config
17DEC08
- Garmin GTX 327 transponder included in the GNS WAAS gauge pack is now fully simulated.

- Fixed an issue affecting all Gauge XTreme products in relation to loading and displaying gauge bitmaps.
26NOV08
- Fixed an issue affecting the "non volatile memory". Previous version were incorrectly using the file from the trainer installation folder instead of a local copy in the "working folder". This new version properly copies the file and solves issue such as "stored data lost" when using either 1 or 2 GNS on the same panel.
24NOV08
- Solved compatibility issues with the various FS9 and FSX service packs that were causing the simulation to crash when loading the aircraft.
- Power off now properly displays the 5 sec warning.
- Constant access to the hard drive when running is now disabled
- better threading support when running dual GNS. This shall help issues reported when running two GNS at the same time. NB: on some rare occasions when both GNS start at the same time (case when avionics bus is turned off then on), both trainer process might enter a race condition and "stuck" the CPU for a time before the screens power up (as seen in the task manager). This new build shall solve most of the cases it happens, but on a very few occasion, this can still happen. To solve this, either wait for the GNS to power up (can take up to 1 min), or cycle the avionics bus again (off then on).
14JUL08
- remaining issues with black gauges and/or holes in bezel.
- DTK/BRG/XTRK information with some HSI.
- crash under some Vista systems when FS9/X starts.

- new option in the RXPGNS.INI file for both the [GNS430] and [GNS530] section: WorkingFolder= in order to set an alternate path for the non volatile memory and simulation local files. Usefull to use a USB memory instead of the hard drive. (NB: this option is not available in the GNS Config application and is intended for special use/special applications. If there is no known issue with your installation, you should not modify/use this setting).
- support for XML HSI variables with FSX SP2 has been added.
- CLR keyboard shortcut command now working.
- GndSpeedFromDeltaLatLon: corrected and working.
DO NOT INSTALL this update unless you've exited your simulator (or the Reality XP installer currently running). Important: We also recommend you always install the latest version of all your Reality XP products in addition to this one. Note: updates where filename ends with "Setup.exe" are updates only and require prior installation of the full product.
- Download the update installer and save it to your hard drive, for example in "My Documents"
- Quit your simulator program (or the Reality XP installer currently running)
- Run the update installer from the location you have saved it to, once download completes
