March 2003 - about True Display XP enabled Meggitt
Magic in the Meridian: "The
panel is the most outstanding part of the package.
Flight1's designers have teamed with Reality XP,
makers of the Flight Line Avionics package to create
some of the most advanced gauges yet seen in Flight
Simulator. RealityXP premiered their new technology,
True Display XP, several months before the release of
the Meridian, with a demo of a 737 ADI. I downloaded
this and tested it, and it was as smooth as silk. This
sparked my interest in future applications of this
technology (as on the Meridian). I followed the
release schedule eagerly and was pleased when the
package was released".
The Meridian
was awarded 5 stars out of 5. |

www.flightsim.com March 2003 - about True Display
XP enabled Meggitt Magic in
the Meridian: "The trouble with MAGIC is that
once you have got a taste for it, it is kind of hard
to leave it alone, especially when you don't have to
rob a bank to pay for it. I have to say that if this
is as near as I ever get to a real MAGIC panel, then I
am going to pine away, because not only are the
originals fantastic, the gauges are exceptional. I
simply cannot recall seeing a better set in an add-on
- and the good news is that not only are they
pin-sharp, and duplicate all the real world modes, but
the code is so tight that I didn't observe any
jerkiness or hesitation in the instruments at all,
which is really unusual with gauges of this
complexity." |

April 2003 - about True Display XP enabled Meggitt
Magic in the Meridian: "When all the instruments
are powered up it is an impressive sight; they are all
crystal clear, sharp and legible. In fact, they are so
clear that, once you are familiar with the Meggitt
displays, you will rarely need to zoom in on them.
Experienced big jet pilots will immediately feel at
home here" |

June 2003 - "The Jet Line Avionics are a very
nice enhancement for the Flight Simulator market and I
recommend everyone to use it. For pilots who flies
aircrafts like the Learjet, the Jet Line 4 is an
absolute must. I like both Jet Line series a lot,
especially when flying IFR. Also, the King Air or
similar aircrafts make IFR flying much more fun with
these add-ons. I award the Jet Line Avionics 9.5
points out of 10" |

February 2004 - "The only way to describe the
two main gauges is that they are beautiful and put
some real world instruments to shame. Apart from
actually being readable and therefore usable, the
Electronic Attitude and Direction Indicator is one of
the smoothest gauges I have ever seen in operation.
The Electronic Horizontal Situation Indicator, on the
other hand, is not only good looking, but goes so far
beyond what the instrument it replaces does as to
leave it eating dust." |

www.pcpilot.net March 2004 - "Addressing
Microsoft's omissions, Reality XP has stepped forward
with versions of its add-on avionics packages, which
promise to breathe new life into the simulator's older
aircrafts as well as enhancing third-party add-ons.
They provide ultra-sharp, smoothly animated gauges
with functionality that goes beyond that provided by
Microsoft's instruments." |

www.avsim.com April 2004 - about PMDG B1900
Jet Line 2 panel option: "This option may well
be what puts the B1900 over the top. Removing the King
Air ADI and EHSI and adding in the very best gauge set
on the market, the Reality XP Jet Line 2 gauges,
totally transforms the cockpit. I’ve provided pictures
of the before and after look, but it is the dynamic
motion of these gauges that really does the job. They
are the smoothest gauges around and a real pleasure to
work with". The B1900 was awarded 4 stars out of 5. |

January 2005 "The Jet Line gauges by Reality XP are in
a class by themselves. If you are looking for the most
accurate, visually most appealing, and dynamically
smoothest glass cockpit avionics, this is it! If you
have a fair number of high performance aircraft in
your hangar, you’ll find that these gauges
integrate nicely into most cockpits and in many cases
help elevate a good basic panel design to a great
flying experience." |

www.fshungary.com January 2005 - "Reality
XP has devoted countless hours to make sure that the
features out-weight the expectations. I was very
impressed with what the combination of the Jetline 2
and WX500 had to offer and have turned a simple
default aircraft into an excellent performer with just
the addition of two of the five items available to the
flight simulation community. With devoted developers
and excellent support we look forward to seeing more
advanced avionics coming from folks at Reality XP for
many years to come." |
