Unlimited views, unlimited possibilities

Simultaneous views with two GNS

With the capability to run dual 430 WAAS or dual 530 WAAS, in addition to mixed 430 and 530 configuration, GNS WAAS Unlimited offers unlimited possibilities: navigate with one GNS and review your flight plans with the other one, get two different views around you at the same time, like Navigation and Terrain, or Navigation and Traffic.

Choosing your dual setup is very easy: if you have purchased the GNS 430XP WAAS, GNS WAAS Unlimited permits running dual GNS 430 WAAS on the same panel. If you have purchased the GNS 530XP WAAS, GNS WAAS Unlimited permits running dual GNS 530 WAAS on the same panel.

Share flight plans and navigation data

Cross Fill between two GNS

GNS WAAS Unlimited connects two GNS with a cross-fill link. This permits exchanging flight plans, user waypoints and navigation data between the two units, either automatically or manually. When flying, you can keep an eye on your navigation pages, and modify the flight plans from the other unit.

Watch Traffic around you

traffic displayed on the map

GNS WAAS Unlimited features a Ryan 9900BX TCAD device simulation and interface to the GNS WAAS Simulation. The Ryan TCAD (Traffic and Collision Alert Device) is an on-board air traffic display used to identify potential collision threats. TCAD computes relative altitude and range of threats from nearby mode C and mode S equipped aircraft. TCAD data displays on the Traffic Page and Map Pages.

Traffic information comes from AI Traffic and Multiplayer using Flight Simulator SDK data sources.

Traffic Page for better situational awareness

Our Ryan 9900BX simulation uses the same TCASII Mark7 engine we have developed, which passes the industry standard 250 TSIM tests and is the most authentic TCASII simulation available for Flight Simulator.

Our TCAD simulation is not just diplaying targets on the screen. It is near-real TCASII Mark7 computations of threats, running in a Ryan 9900BX simulation, which communicates internally with the GNS WAAS Simulation. Even the GNS WAAS TCAD menu and controls are communicating and working (to some extent) with the Ryan TCAD simulation which is integrated.
